Oludeniz

The beautiful Oludeniz, having put her crown back in 2006 after being selected as the Most Beautiful Beach in the World by getting a big majority, used to be called the “Land of Lights and Sun” by the Lycians of the Ancient Age. The Blue Lagoon part of Ölüdeniz, which means “dead sea” in English, is named so because of its still and calm sea; the resort is also famous for the paragliding sport which can be done twelve months a year. Additionally, Oludeniz attracts attention from global holiday makers with activities such as water-skiing, wakeboard and in particular for wind & kite surfing.
With its unspoiled nature, historical ruins hidden between the greenery, Oludeniz is the apple of Turkey’s eye; and with its still, crystal-clean waters and finest sandy beach, Oludeniz Beach (Blue Lagoon) is the same of Fethiye.
